FARGO - North Dakota State has unveiled revised versions of its primary and secondary athletic logos and a new custom typeface that will be used in athletic publications and team apparel.

For 40 years, Howard University has had a charging bison as its logo. Just like the NFL's Buffalo Bills. Thursday they unveiled a new image for the school.

The new bison — featured in its familiar charging pose — is a modernized take on Howard’s previous logo, a design the NFL’s Bills began using in 1974.
