While Icon and Utopia share brand DNA and have many similarities, these sister ships have a few key differences that may make one preferable to the other, depending on the trip and traveler.

As such, Icon actually has slightly fewer staterooms (2,805) than Utopia (2,834), despite being a bigger ship overall. Utopia, by contrast, is part of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis class.
