Police say 18-year-old Amari Magdaleno was found lying in an irrigation ditch near 8th Street and Stapley Drive around 8:50 a.m.

Around 3 p.m., crews from five different cities from across the responded to fight the second-alarm fire near 48th Street between Warner and Ray roads.

People stood in the streets near 35th Avenue and Thomas Road waving flags and signs. Police appeared to shoot something into the crowd, causing many to cough.

News obtained video of the event. In the video, the protesters appeared to be demonstrating for immigrant rights with many carrying Mexican flags and signs.
