PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Motiva announced the company will be combining two Port Arthur facilities due to the impact of COVID-19, a company spokesperson announced in an emailed statement.

According to Reuters Motiva's chief executive Brian Coffman, Motiva was evaluating boosting the 603,000 barrel-per-day Port Arthur refinery's capacity to 1,000,000 or 1,500,000 barrels-per day.
