Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has declared today a public holiday in honour of the 22 members of the state contingent who died in an auto crash on Saturday.

The accident involved a Toyota Coaster Bus KN041 A17, belonging to the government of Kano state. The bus had 24 passengers on board at the time, which included 23 adult males and 1 adult female.
