Watch out − it's the time of year when deer can get caught in your headlights. Deer movement dramatically increases during deer season, which typically lasts from October through December.
If you see one deer dash across the road, chances are more will follow. Be aware. Be on alert at dawn and dusk (6 to 9 a.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.) Use high-beam headlights when there's no oncoming traffic.
