German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said his government’s top priority is to transform the nation’s military into Europe’s strongest conventional army to help counter the rising threat from Russia.

Over 14,200 megawatts of new capacity are set to come online by 2030 to strengthen the country’s power supply, according to the Department of Energy.
