Prince William appeared at Trooping the Colour on horseback after describing the last year as the most difficult of his life.

Members of Britain's royal family gathered at London's Buckingham Palace on Saturday for Trooping the Colour, including Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, and their three children, Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte.

Princess Charlotte was every bit her mother's mini-me at this year’s Trooping the Colour celebration. The pair matched in bright aquamarine hues for the annual event, which honours the reigning monarch’s birthday with a grand display of military pageantry.
