Scottie Scheffler was leading by two strokes late in his second round Friday at the Travelers Championship, but a double bogey at the par-4 17th dropped him into a share of the top spot with Justin Thomas.

Justin Thomas played an excellent second round at TPC River Highlands that allowed him to tie Scottie Scheffler for first place at the Travelers Championship.

Scheffler is at it again, standing atop the leaderboard through 18 holes in the the last signature event of the season
