A typewriter artist has set his sights on a new Guinness World Record with a two-metre drawing of the London skyline as he hopes to encourage others to give the machine “a second life”.

An artist who uses a typewriter to make art will be doing live drawings at a library. Keira Rathbone will draw pictures of people using what she calls her "time-travelling" writing device on 10 May.
