The End Continues,” a sequel to the 1984 music mockumentary “This Is Spinal Tap,” will rock and roll into theaters this fall. Bleecker Street has acquired U.S. rights to the rock comedy follow-up and set a theatrical release on Sept.

The sequel will be released only in theaters on Sept. 12, while Bleeker Street will also re-release a newly restored version of the original “This Is Spinal Tap” in theaters nationwide this summer. That theatrical re-release will be followed by a digital and streaming release to prime audiences for the sequel.
