Chao Gardens have been absent in the Sonic franchise since the early 2000s, but Sonic X Shadow Generations fills the void with a very simple feature.

It's part remaster, with 2011's Sonic Generations returning with shinier ... I'm less into the overworld, a sprawling white void that Shadow slowly fills in with color as he completes each stage.
