The Trump administration on Tuesday released thousands of records related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy that it said had previously been classified.

The release of as many as 80,000 pages of classified files comes after decades of smaller releases of redacted files.

The pope was admitted to Rome's Gemelli hospital on Feb. 14 with a severe respiratory infection that has required evolving treatment.

The Vatican on Sunday released the first photograph of the pope in more than a month, showing Francis co-celebrating Mass in the hospital chapel.

It is the first photograph of the pope since he was hospitalized on Feb. 14 with a severe case of bronchitis, which developed into double pneumonia.
