But Dransfield, who was born in 1914, isn’t a health fanatic. He smoked cigarettes for 20 years and worked his whole life from age 15 to his late 70s.

Dransfield was born on March 28, 1914, in a house on Preakness Avenue in Paterson. He moved to Little Falls in 1945 and lived there the rest of his life, peacefully dying in his home on June 26.

Vincent Dransfield, 110, lives alone and drives his car every day. He credits movement, milk, and strong relationships with giving him longevity.
