Two fans were competing against each other in the layup tic-tac-toe challenge (score a layup to place an X or O on the board) and while one fan got off to a hot start, the other seemingly messed up his knee real bad with a hard fall to the court.

An Atlanta Hawks fan appeared to sustain an evening-ruining injury in an otherwise innocuous contest against a fellow team enthusiast during Tuesday night's (ultimately not victorious) Portland Trail Blazers game.

The Atlanta Hawks lost Tuesday's home game to the Portland Trail Blazers, but that was far from the only bad news for one fan at State Farm Arena. During a timeout break, two fans competed in a tic-tac-toe game where they had to make baskets to get pieces for the board at center court.
