Volkswagen’s unit in India has sued tax authorities in India over an “impossibly enormous” $1.4B tax bill, Reuters reported Sunday, citing court documents. The report said that Skoda Auto Volkswagen India told the High Court in Mumbai the bill contradicts the country’s import taxation rules for auto parts and will affect its business plans.
