Flowing parallel to the Ganga, the Yamuna is another major river in Northern India. It originates from the Yamunotri Glacier and passes through states such as Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Delhi.

Here, rivers are known as the lifeline of India. Because rivers are not only the main source of agriculture and water supply but are also important from a cultural and spiritual point of view.
