Dramatic images and satellite footage have captured the powerful eruption of Guatemala's Volcán de Fuego (Volcano of Fire), putting thousands of people in the area at risk, according to reports.

Guatemala's Volcano of Fire, one of the most active volcanoes in Central America, began erupting overnight going into Monday, March 10, 2025, just 33 miles outside the capital city of Guatemala City.
