Nov 19(Reuters) - Genoa have parted ways with coach Alberto Gilardino, the Serie A club announced on Tuesday, with Sky Sport Italia saying they will appoint former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira.

Genoa have sacked coach Alberto Gilardino. While the Serie A club are yet to announce the dismissal, Gilardino and his assistants Gaetano Caridi and Dario Dainelli have been shown the door.
