WINNIPEG, March 6, 2025 – The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced today they have acquired goaltender Chris Driedger from the Florida Panthers in exchange for goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen.

Driedger was briefly a bona fide backup option with Florida around the turn of the decade, erupting for a .931 SV% and 2.07 GAA in 35 games during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.
