The ghazal as a genre is derived from the Arabic qasidah (ode). It originates in taghazzul, the opening verses of the qasidah in which the poet talks about his female lover.

The song performed by the group was called “Jilbab Putih” (White Headscarf) and sister Yunita pointed to her own white headscarf when singing the lyrics.
