It should be no surprise that in addition to his otherworldly performances on the diamond, Shohei Ohtani is also an elite goal setter. The Los Angeles Dodgers' reigning National League Most Valuable Player opened up about a list of life goals he made in high school and revealed he is about a year ahead of schedule.

Ohtani is the second Japanese-born player to hit a home run in an MLB game played in Japan, joining Hideki Matsui. Matsui hit a two-run home run for the New York Yankees against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays at the Tokyo Dome on March 31, 2004.
