The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency says there is a possibility of both radiological and chemical contamination within Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facility in Natanz.

Centrifuges at Iran's underground uranium enrichment plant at Natanz were likely to have been "severely damaged if not destroyed altogether" following Israeli strikes on Friday, the head of the global nuclear watchdog has told the BBC.

The Natanz nuclear site is among those targeted by Israel in Iran, said Rafael Grossi, chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Grossi said the agency is in touch with Iranian authorities about radiation levels and is in contact with local inspectors.
