The Houston Texans and free agent guard Laken Tomlinson agreed to a one-year deal on Tuesday.  Tomlinson comes as the first addition to Houston’s shuffled offensive line after making multiple subtractions over the last few days.

Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Media, the Texans are signing Laken Tomlinson to a one-year deal worth $4.25 million with a maximum value of $5 million. Tomlinson, 33, was with the Seahawks last year, playing every offensive snap for the franchise.

Defensive end Derek Barnett is returning to the Houston Texans on a one-year, $5 million deal, NFL Network reports. The New York Giants strengthened their secondary with former New Orleans Saints cornerback Paulson Adebo, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.

According to reports, the Texans have agreed to terms with Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Laken Tomlinson on a one-year deal worth $4.25 million . The veteran interior lineman should serve as a gap-holder at either left or right guard for a majority of the 2025 season.
