Organizers of the national 50501 Movement on Thursday announced they are disassociating themselves with the Salt Lake affiliate following the fatal shooting of an innocent bystander by “peacekeeper” volunteers of the group.

The organization wrote that it has a strict, no weapons policy. The peacekeeper who volunteered with 50501 to work as security for the rally was the one who fired shots, hitting Arthur “Afa” Folasa Ah Loo, an innocent bystander.
