Atmospheric steps to St Mary’s Church & the abbey ruins. Spectacular views out to sea & back over the town. Couple of benches to stop in the way up. Look out for the Roman numeral numbering the steps… DKandtheMadDog的完整评论

The steps seem to be one of the most significant things in Whitby to do. We took the grandkids and they enjoyed counting them and it really wasn’t as bad as it sounds to go up them. The view from the… loupinlou的完整评论

The question is, why would you not do it, it’s free, easy to do (small shallow steps, with handrails and seats along the way) and the views from up there are lovely. Philplloyd的完整评论
Is there a pizza place at the top of here?Someone told us there was but don’t want to promise the kids pizza to find out that there isn’t one when we get there!

Edit-There is the Whitby Brewery which serves wood fired pizza - however they were out of pizza when we got there!
