Every club and every show varies. Some do allow underage patrons when they have an "all ages" show and those are often earlier shows...but it depends on how it is set up. Those …
Every club and every show varies. Some do allow underage patrons when they have an "all ages" show and those are often earlier shows...but it depends on how it is set up. Those all-age shows (which I believe still has a minimum age) give wrist bands to those over 21 with ID at the door. We have a son under 21 and would just call the club (or email them at their web site) regarding the particular show we wanted to take him to...sometimes it was allowable, other times it was not not. Some clubs do not do any "all ages" shows at all... so you should contact them when you see something of interest and they will let you know.
I'm thinking of going to the Variety Playhouse in November to see the band Midland. I've never been to this venue. I understand some seating is available. They say the doors open at 7 PM. How early would you suggest I get there in order to grab a table? I definitely don't want to stand all night. So I'm willing to get there early to increase my odds of getting a table. I just don't have any idea how early would be good. I contacted the Playhouse via email and asked them....they didn't reply. I'm planning this as an anniversary outing, so I don't want it messed up. Any suggestions?
