This is totally inaccessible for people with any mobility issues. The lighting is poor. The ground is very uneven & there are no hand rails on many of the steps. It’s an accident waiting to happen. …tamerun的完整评论

You'll be fine. The palace doesn't get too busy, unless there's a number of Outlander coach groups arriving all at once - or you plan on visiting on Jousting Day. What I would say though, is a Historic Environment Scotland membership is pretty cheap if you plan on visiting other things (nearby Edinburgh Castle, Blackness Castle, or Doune Castle, for example)
