Hi all, was wondering if anyone can give some information on Skala in kefalonia. Is it a busy resort with things to do? Dont want it to be too quiet, going with my mum so dont want nightclubs exactly but want enough for us to keep us busy for the week!

Skála is a nice and busy resort with restaurants to do to or little bars. Nice to walk around and also depends on the time of the year you go for example July August is quite busy.

We visited Skala beach 5 years ago from our stay in Lassi. The beach was awful, pebbly, rough and you were up to your neck in water within 3 feet of going in. Absolutely no good for small kids. Hated it, Lassi beach far superior with golden flat sand, and beautiful crystal clear shallow sea. No comparison to Skala beach. Although we may have just ended up on the 'bad bit'., not sure.
