Hello, are you able to cross the bridge to get closer to the castle without needing to pay to enter the castle? In other words, do you pay to enter the structure or to enter the property?

As previous people have said you can pay to cross the bridge and walk around the island or you can pay extra to enter the castle interior.

We didn’t use the bus - but there is one within easy walking distance. Eileen Donan did have lockers for bags. Not sure how big your luggage is and if they’ll fit. But they do have …
