Some banks, not all require you to tell them you are going abroad. The bank can tell you if they see the charge you are trying to make and give you details. I am a world traveler and have rarely had this issue. One other thing is some things you have to actually book on a computer not your phone.
Will I be able to picnic on the lawn in front of Eiffel Tower or visit the Trocodero Gardens Aug 27 - Aug 30 after the main Olympics? Will there still be any construction blocking the usage of these areas?
