The red & green paths were Very muddy last week when we were there last week & impassable as forestry work is being conducted at the moment.

if you park in the carpark and look at the castle,just to the right of it,there is a downward path that leads to the coast,head down this path,keeping first the castle walls to your left,then the walled garden.At the end of the path,you arrive at the seawall and a small jetty and slipway,turning to your left and walking less approx 50 yards,you will have a glorious view of the turreted castle and grounds.
