You get good views even at the base of the lighthouse. We paid the guy $5 each to walk to the top. It is not for the claustrophobic or out of shape! At the top it is very windy but the views are good…J Z的完整评论

We would like to take some sunset pictures here and wondering: 1. Is it worth it or should we just go to Eagle or Palm Beach instead? 2. How much would a taxi ride cost to the lighthouse from the cruise terminal? 3. Is it easy to find a taxi when we are ready to head back to the ship? Hello, We personally didn’t care for it. The beach is nice, there’s definitely better in Aruba. Taxis are fairly inexpensive, but we had a car so I couldn’t tell you exactly. But it isn’t a hussle, everything is pretty transparent. I hope this helps. And you should have no problem getting back to your ship, worst case scenario, you Uber, but you definitely shouldn’t need to. Enjoy

The lighthouse is open for touring now, my husband and I toured it in August 2017. You have to go inside the restaurant El Faro and book it (for $8 a person) and they will take you up. As there is no lights on the inside other than the lighthouse itself I doubt they tour at night
