As a child, she watched her grandmother, a Filipino immigrant, struggle with the health care system and noticed that she was not guided properly which made her illness more difficult to manage. This convinced Dr. Marquez-Maneja that she would pursue a career as a physician and help fill this gap to provide an exceptional patient experience for all of her patients. An internist with over 15 years of experience, Dr. Marquez-Maneja chose internal medicine as her specialty to master the management of multiple medical diagnoses.
